CCM is in regular contact with approximately 60 local elderly people. We now run our Monday Lunch Club weekly followed by an activity or entertainment. Each person is allowed to come once a fortnight to the Lunch Club which means everyone who wants to come can now do so and that we have the capacity to cater for more people.

Please get in touch with Carole at CCM if you know someone elderly and local to CCM who could benefit from this.

We also need volunteers to help with our Visiting Service. The elderly very much appreciate this.

Each year we run our very popular Holiday at Home Week. In 2009 this has changed to be a series of day excursions over the Summer and this is proving as popular as ever - the pictures below show how much this was appreciated and enjoyed in 2007.

The programme continues to foster relationship within the local community being part of NE Area Co-ordination's "Old Peoples Forum and Carole Cuttler, Eldercare Co-ordinator, is also in visiting five local residential homes for the elderly. Meanwhile our own programme of after lunch activities continues to challenge and entertain.

The first two pictures below are of an Eldercare session in the Café where guests enjoy a two course meal, and minsitry such as singing.

The remaining pictures are of some of the outings that have takenplace recently.
